Simultaneous interpreting:

The interpreter listens to the speaker’s words and translates them into the other language while they are being spoken (simultaneously) with the aid of suitable audiological equipment (booth, sound transmission equipment, headphones).*

This type of interpreting makes it possible for people to communicate efficiently in more than two languages. It is appropriate for events of any size or for any number of event languages.
